Hope all of you are having a great summer so far! It's been an interesting combination of hot and cool, dry and humid here in Northern California. So far, my summer has been pretty low-key. As always, I'm excited for Independence Day and I wish all of you a wonderful 4th of July!

Hi guys,
I hope all of you had a great week! Today's post is my top five favorites items for breakfast on those days where mornings are rushed and time isn't on your side. I personally love a full breakfast, but unfortunately, that isn't always possible. Eating a good cereal or Greek yogurt is a great way to start a busy day, so below I've included pictures of my favorites for you guys. Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you guys next week! Hey guys,
Hope you all had a great week! What are your Thanksgiving plans? My plans are still up in the air, hoping for a slightly relaxing time but I know there are stacks of homework and papers to done be done and house projects to complete so.... Anyways, here are a few really cute outfits for winter! You know I love glamorous outfits so the third look is probably my favorite. The others are great too though, very put together yet casual enough for everyday wear. I have pulled out all my coated jeans to create as many outfits as possible. Any suggestions? Hey guys, Hope you all had a great week! The summer is winding down and school starts in just over a week. I know, I haven't done many Five Favorites posts lately, so I thought I'd put one up this week. What about you? Any outfits you are looking forward to wearing this school year?
Hey guys! Hope you all are having a wonderful 4th of July! We're hosting a dinner party tomorrow, so preparing for that along with all my usual summer activities so to speak. Things have calmed down since school ended two weeks ago. But come August, it's senior year!!! My last year of high school is nearing and I just can't believe it. Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend and I'll see you guys back on Monday! What are your plans for the 4th? Let me know in your comments!
Hey guys! So I know updates are been lacking these past two weeks, I'm sorry about that! I haven't forgotten if that's what you're thinking. Life's busy, and school just so crazy! But all's well, none the less. Good news is you can expect more posts on This, that, and the other! As always, questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome! I'd love to hear from you guys! Have a great weekend everyone. :) So, spring is officially here! I can't wait to take out all my spring and summer clothes and buy some new ones too! Here are five outfits I'm thinking of trying this spring. Have a great weekend guys! A little late in the day, but better late than never!
I know last week's Friday post didn't happen. To be honest that will happen from time to time, especially with school being so hectic. Anyways, does anyone have any requests/ideas for the "This,That, and the Other" blog?? Would love to hear from you guys! Have a great weekend! Hey Everyone!
I am so so so sorry. I can't believe I haven't posted in over 3 months! That's wayyyy longer a break than I had originally anticipated. But life's been really busy. Junior year is well underway with SATs, SAT Subject Tests and of course all my regular classes. It's been overwhelming and there's still so much of the year to go through. Plus my grandmother fell really sick and we weren't sure she was going to make it. Hence we made a trip 3/4 way around the world to spend time with her. Anyways, I'm back! And hope to update about twice a week at first. There's so much happening right now and I'd hate to promise more and end up falling short. So how’s everyone been?? How's winter been treating you? I know lots of you must have had it really rough this year. Here in California, drought been declared but its currently raining. Hoping for much more of that in the coming months! Hope you all have a great weekend! So summer is leaving us, though I am hardly sad that the thought of cooler weather, the demanding and tiresome hours to come in these next months leave me feeling rather nervous. But it was a lovely summer for me and I hope it was for all of you as well. Here are my five highlights. I had many things going on this summer despite the lack of travel plans and social gatherings. And sometimes that's nice, being at home doing your own thing. One major project (maybe the main project) this summer was the building of our new gazebo in our garden. The long hot summer months leave that area right outside the backdoor hotter than we'd like and often makes summer full of unnecessary dread. The project itself took time. But after a good month's time of hard work, it was complete! And it really is quite nice. We had a dinner party in mid-July. A nice small gathering of close family friends who we hadn't seen for quite some time. One of my favorite things to serve at these dinner parties is a fruit punch with jello. The exciting part is choosing and cutting out the shapes for the jello. This year's theme was daisies as you can see. My newest handbag! My mom surprised me with this bag a little over a month ago. We had seen quite a few Imoshion bags of late, and I really liked the embellishments that many of the bags had on the handles and straps. The inside lining is a gorgeous paisley design in green, orange and a rich bronze. Not to mention, it's a nice roomy bag, so everything fits! My go to shoes of this past summer, a gorgeous pair of White Mountain Pewter Flower Ballet Flats. They are extremely comfortable (wore them during our long impromptu day trip to SF and my feet weren't hurting at all!) Also the color and flower design is perfect classy yet casual, so you're not overdressed but definitely not under dressed as well! And a decent 1 inch heel with a padded foot-bed doesn't hurt :) Mom's delicious lemon cake! It's definitely one of my all-time favorites, especially in the summer. A cool refreshing dessert or any-time snack. I think I'll have to make it a couple times soon though, next summer's way too far off! |
